مشاهير123 - قال صحفيون في مدينة "مصراتة" الليبية، التي تشهد مواجهات دامية بن قوات العقيد معمر القذافي، والثوار المحاصرين في المدينة، مقتل أحد الصحفيين الغربيين وإصابة آخر بجروح بالغة، دون أن تتضح على الفور ما إذا كان الصحفيان الغربيان قد تعرضا لهجوم أم حادث عرضي.
و قد قالت كاثي سيبول، رئيسة المؤسسة التي يمثلها القتيل، أعلنت أن المصور تيم هيثرنغتون، المرشح لجائزة أكاديمية التصوير، قُتل في ليبيا الأربعاء.

RIP Tim Hetherington

English: Machahir123 - Tim Hetherington, the esteemed photojournalist and an Oscar nominee for a gritty and harrowing documentary about the Afghan war, has been killed in the war-torn Libyan city of Misrata, according to the president of the agency that represented him.

Another journalist was seriously wounded but his or her identity was not disclosed. Panos Pictures, which employed Hetherington, confirmed that the photographer's family had been notified.

"We're still trying to figure out front lines or house (referring to where he was when killed)," said CSPR agency president Cathy Saypol. "The only thing we know is that he was hit by an RPG with the other guys."

His last Twitter entry appears to have been made on Tuesday: "In besieged Libyan city of Misrata. indiscriminate shelling by Qaddafi forces. No sign of NATO."

التلفزيون الليبي الرسمي:النيتو يقصف منطقة جنوبي طرابلس يوم الاربعاء

مشاهير123 -  أعلن  تلفزيون الجماهيرية الليبي ان قوات حلف شمال الاطلسي قصفت يوم الاربعاء "أهدافا مدنية وعسكرية" جنوب غربي العاصمة الليبية طرابلس.

وأضاف ان الغارة استهدفت منطقة بير الغنام. ولم يذكر مزيدا من التفاصيل.

It said the raid was carried out in the area of Bir al-Ghanam. It gave no further details.

مشاهير123- قال مكتب الرئيس الفرنسي نيكولا ساركوزي في بيان ان ساركوزي تعهد لمصطفى عبد الجليل رئيس المجلس الوطني الانتقالي الليبي المعارض يوم الاربعاء بأن تكثف فرنسا الضربات الجوية على قوات الزعيم الليبي معمر القذافي.

ولم يذكر البيان المزيد من التفاصيل بشأن تكثيف الهجمات.

وقال قصر الاليزيه في بيان بعد ان اجتمع ساركوزي مع عبد الجليل في باريس في أول لقاء وجها لوجه بينهما "سنقوم بالفعل بتكثيف الهجمات والاستجابة لهذا الطلب من المجلس الوطني الانتقالي."

English: Machahir123  - France promised Libyan rebels on Wednesday it would intensify air strikes on Muammar Gaddafi's forces and send military liaison officers to help them as fighting raged in the besieged city of Misrata.

In Paris, President Nicolas Sarkozy pledged stronger military action at his first meeting with the leader of the opposition Libyan National Council, Mustafa Abdel Jalil, the Elysee presidential office said in a statement.

"We are indeed going to intensify the attacks and respond to this request from the national transition council," it said, quoting Sarkozy as telling Abdel Jalil: "We will help you."

مشاهير123 -  قال وزير الدفاع الايطالي اغناتسيو لا روسا يوم الاربعاء إن القوات الغربية قد تحتاج إلى تصعيد تدخلها في ليبيا مع بقائها ملتزمة بشروط القرار الذي اصدره مجلس الامن التابع للامم المتحدة.

وقال لا روسا في كلمة امام رابطة الصحافة الاجنبية في روما ان الزعيم الليبي معمر القذافي لن يترك السلطة الا اذا اجبر على ذلك. وأضاف ان الاسلحة المتاحة لقوات القذافي أكثر تطورا من اسلحة المعارضة.

وصرح أيضا بان ايطاليا ستفكر في ارسال عشرة مدربين عسكريين لمساعدة قوات المعارضة.

English: Machahir123  - Western forces may need to step up intervention in Libya while remaining under the terms of the UN Security Council resolution, Italian Defence Minister Ignazio La Russa said on Wednesday.

Speaking to the foreign press association in Rome, La Russa said that Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi would only leave power if he were forced. He added that the weapons available to Gaddafi's forces are superior to rebel arms.

He also said Italy, which has committed eight aircraft to help enforce the no-fly zone over Libya but forbidden its forces from opening fire, would consider sending 10 military trainers to help rebel forces.
