مشاهير123-قالت مصادر صحفية امريكية نقلا عن  مسؤول امريكي بأنه  تم قتل الرجل الثاني في تنظيم القاعدة عطية عبد الرحمن خلال عملية عسكرية كانت قد شنتها القوات الامريكية في باكستان يوم 22 من شهر اب/أغسطس.
ويعد عطية عبد الرحمن الرجل الثاني في تنظيم القاعدة بعد ايمن الظواهري وكان على قائمة المطلوبين للسلطات الامريكية وتمت ملاحقته لاكثر من مرة دون ان تفلح تلك المحاولات في القاء القبض عليه او قتله.

ويبدو ان مقتل عطية عبد الرحمن سيشكل ضربة قوية لتنظيم القاعدة مما ينبىء بسلسلة من العمليات الانتقامية التي سيشنها التنظيم كما حدث سابقا عن مقتل الزعيم اسامة بن لادن على ايدي قوات المارينز الامريكية.

The Libyan national who was the network's former operational leader rose to al-Qaida's No. 2 spot after the U.S. killed al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden during a raid on his Pakistan compound in May.
Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said last month that al-Qaida's defeat was within reach if the U.S. could mount a string of successful attacks on the group's weakened leadership.
"Now is the moment, following what happened with bin Laden, to put maximum pressure on them," Panetta said, "because I do believe that if we continue this effort we can really cripple al-Qaida as a major threat."

Burly striker Didier Drogba was substituted in the second half of Chelsea’s English Premier League game against Norwich City on Saturday after suffering a seemingly serious head injury.

The Ivory Coast international was taken off on a stretcher with an oxygen mask on his face, making way for French striker Nicolas Anelka nine minutes past the hour mark.

Drogba, who initially looked unconscious, received treatment on the pitch for around 11 minutes before being substituted amid heavy applause from Chelsea’s fans.

Chelsea beat Norwich 3-1, thanks to goals from Jose Bosingwa and debutant Juan Mata and a penalty from midfielder Frank Lampard.

English: Machahir123--More than two million people on America’s east coast have been told to leave their homes to spare them from Hurricane Irene, which has already been battering North Carolina.

They include a quarter of a million New Yorkers along the city’s southern coastal rim. The mass evacuation is taking place ahead of the storm’s expected arrival there on Sunday.

Now reported to be a thousand kilometres wide, Irene has weakened slightly to a Category 1 hurricane but still threatens tens of millions of people with winds of around 150 kilometres an hour.

The scenes on the roads on Friday showed that many were heeding the authorities’ often stern warnings to get out of harm’s way.

While in North Carolina others prepared to ride out the storm, in New York the authorities are taking no chances.

Public transport is being shut down and thousands of flights cancelled. There have been warnings that several airports could close entirely.

President Obama has warned that Irene could be “extremely dangerous and costly” for the nation.

وأعرب المتظاهرون عن تضامنهم الكامل مع أهالي كفر سوسة .. مطالبين بضرورة رحيل الرئيس السوري بشار الأسد .كان اتحاد تنسيقيات الثورة السورية قد أعلن أمس أن قوات الأمن أطلقت النار على المصلين في مدينتي درعا وحمص لمنعهم من إحياء ليلة القدر.

وتشهد سوريا منذ منتصف مارس الماضي احتجاجات شعبية غير مسبوقة تطالب بإسقاط نظام الرئيس السوري بشار الأسد أسفرت حتى الآن عن سقوط مئات القتلى والجرحى بين المدنيين وقوات الأمن ، حيث تلقى السلطات السورية باللائمة في هذا الأمر على ما تصفها بـ"الجماعات المسلحة" ، فيما يتهم المعارضون السلطات السورية بإرتكاب أعمال عنف ضد المتظاهرين.

English: Machahir123-- Syrian security forces have reportedly wounded several people protesting at a mosque in the capital, Damascus.

Activists said “thousands” of people took to the streets in Kafarsouseh, a western suburb, to protest against President Bashar al-Assad’s rule after early morning prayers on Saturday.

A witness told Al Jazeera that security forces and regime thugs arrived at the scene, using sound bombs and tear gas in an attempt to stop the demonstration.

Protesters threw rocks and the tear gas canisters back at the security forces, the witness said, and security forces responded with gun fire, injuring eight people.

The witness said protesters were then pushed back into the mosque, which was surrounded by shabiha thugs and security forces.

Activists said security forces stormed the mosque, attacking the 80-year-old imam who was later taken to a Damascus hospital. Parts of the interiors was damaged and about 150 people arrested, according to activists.

 مشاهير123- قالت وكالة أنباء الشرق الأوسط المصرية الرسمية، نقلا عن مصدر عسكرى من الثوار، أن موكبا يضم ست سيارات مرسيدس مصفحة قد يكون ينقل مسئولين ليبيين كبارًا بمن فيه الزعيم الليبى معمر القذافى وأبناؤه، عبر الجمعة الحدود من ليبيا إلى الجزائر.

وقالت الوكالة نقلا عن "مصدر فى المجلس العسكرى الليبى بمدينة غدامس الليبية، إن ست سيارات من نوع مرسيدس مجهزة ضد الرصاص ومصفحة دخلت المدينة صباح أمس (الجمعة)".. وأضاف المصدر نفسه أنه تم تأمين السيارات من قبل آمر كتيبة الطوارئ إلى أن دخلت الحدود الجزائرية".

وتابع أن "تلك السيارات من المعتقد أنها تحمل مسئولين ليبيين كبارا ومن الممكن أن يكون فيها القذافى وأبناؤه".

وتعذر التأكد من هذه المعلومات من مصادر ليبية أو جزائرية.

وأكدت الوكالة نقلا عن المصدر نفسه أن الثوار لم يتمكنوا من مطاردة هذه السيارات التى كانت مجهزة بطريقة حديثة"، مشددا على أن الثوار كانت تنقصهم الذخائر والمعدات اللازمة لتلك المواجهة.

GADDAFI RUNNING AWAY

English: Machahir123-- A convoy of six Mercedes cars have crossed from Libya into Algeria, Egypt's state MENA news agency reported on Saturday, quoting a rebel source.

It was impossible to verify the report and it was not immediately clear who might have been in any convoy, but MENA quoted the source as speculating that senior Libyan officials or Muammar Gaddafi himself and his sons may have fled the country.

"It is believed that these vehicles were carrying senior Libyan officials, and possibly Gaddafi and his sons," MENA quoted the source as saying.

Algerian officials were not immediately reachable for comment.

The agency quoted the source from the rebel Military Council in the city of Ghadamis, on the Algerian border, as saying that the convoy of armoured cars crossed the frontier on Friday morning protected by the commander of a desert nomadic military unit that had apparently operated under Gaddafi.

The source was quoted as saying the rebels were unable to chase and stop the convoy.

Libyan rebels said on Friday they were close to capturing Gaddafi, who has disappeared after his Bab al-Aziziya bastion fell to the rebels on Tuesday.

Morocco: Four orphaned after parents plunge to their deaths one day apart

مشاهير123- قال مصدر كبي مغربي  بأن السائح البريطاني الذي ألقى بنفسه الأحد الماضي , من نافذة غرفة بالطابق الثاني لفندق بوسط مدينة الصويرة جنوبي المغرب , توفي بمستشفى في مدينة مراكش. وأوضح المصدر ذاته, أن الضحية كان قد أدخل مساء الأحد في حالة جد خطيرة إلى مصلحة المستعجلات بمستشفى ابن طفيل التابع للمركز الاستشفائي الجامعي محمد السادس بمراكش. وبمجرد وصوله إلى المركز الاستشفائي الجامعي محمد السادس بمراكش, تمت تعبئة كافة الوسائل من أجل إنقاذ حياته, لكن من دون جدوى.

ويذكر أن الضحية كان قد نقل بعد الحادث مباشرة إلى المستشفى الإقليمي سيدي محمد بن عبد الله بالصويرة قبل نقله إلى مراكش. وكان السائح الذي يبلغ 47 سنة من العمر وهو أب لثلاثة أطفال, قد فقد زوجته الأسبوع الماضي, عقب حادث سقوطها من الطابق الثالث لمنزل بمدينة الصويرة.

A SAD STORY... IN A BEAUTIFUL CITY

English: Machahir123-- Four children were left orphaned after Roger and Mathilde Lamb both plunged to their deaths whilst in Essaouira on the Atlantic Coast.

Mrs Lamb, 43, known as Tilly, was rushed to intensive care after falling 60ft from a third floor balcony at their rented holiday home last Wedneday evening.

She was treated at the Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah Essaouira hospital but died from her injuries on Saturday.

Her husband, a successful geotechnical engineer, apparently committed suicide the following day.

The 47-year-old fell from a two-storey balcony at a nearby five-star Sofitel Hotel. He was taken to the same hospital as his wife before being transferred to the University Hospital Ibn Tofail in Marrakesh, 250 miles, away where he died on Sunday night.

بالتأكيد هناك حكاية حب من طرف واحد عاشها العقيد القذافي في فترة ما من السنوات العشر الأخيرة، بحسب ما توحي به الصور، كما ما تدل عليه مواقفه في تلك المدة، بل إن معظم تصرفاته كانت تكشف عن وقوعه في حالة إعجاب الى حد العشق بكوندوليزا التي ما زالت عزباء، مع أن عمرها 57 سنة الآن.

English: Machahir123--A bizarre photograph album filled page to page with pictures of Condoleezza Rice has been found at the compound of Colonel Gaddafi.

As citizens ransacked the sprawling lair, for the first time discovering the extent of riches enjoyed by their bloodthirsty tyrant, a number of unusual items have been looted.

Perhaps the most surprising, however, was the album, filled with glossy pictures of America's former Secretary of State.

Colonel Gaddafi had previously hinted at a serious admiration for Miss Rice.

In an interview with Al-Jazeera television in 2007, where he hinted that then-President George W. Bush's top diplomat wielded considerable influence in the Arab world.

'I support my darling black African woman,' he said at the time. 'I admire and am very proud of the way she leans back and gives orders to the Arab leaders. ... Leezza, Leezza, Leezza. ... I love her very much. I admire her, and I'm proud of her, because she's a black woman of African origin.'

The following year, Gaddafi and Rice had an opportunity to meet when the secretary of state paid a historic visit to Libya - one that made steps toward normalising relations after the United States went decades without an ambassador in Tripoli.
