مشاهير123 - أفاد استطلاع للرأي أجراه معهد "هاريس انتراكتيف" ونشرته صحيفة لوباريزيان الأحد بأن 49% من الفرنسيين يرغبون في عودة دومينيك ستروس-كان إلى الساحة السياسية بعد الإفراج عنه الجمعة والمتهم باغتصاب عاملة تنظيف في فندق سوفيتال بنيويورك، مقابل 45% رفضوا ذلك.
وترتفع هذه النسبة بين انصار اليسار الى 60% من الاشخاص المستطلعين الراغبين في عودة المدير العام لصندوق النقد الدولي المستقيل الى الحياة السياسية الفرنسية مقابل 38% وخصوصا من انصار الحزب الاشتراكي بنسبة 65% من التاييد مقابل 33% من المعارضة.

Among the general public, 49 percent want Strauss-Kahn to return to the French political scene while 45 percent are against it, a Harris Interactive poll of 1,000 French people aged 18 and over. The poll, published by French daily Le Parisien, was taken after Strauss-Kahn's release from house arrest on Friday and news that questions had been raised about the credibility of his accuser.

مشاهير123 - أفادت مصادر عسكرية مساء اليوم الأحد أنه قتل ما لا يقل عن 10 اشخاص وأصيب 25 اخرونفي انفجار وقع في حانة قريبة من ثكنات للشرطة في مدينة مايدوجوري بشمال شرق نيجيريا.

وقال الميجر جنرال جاك نواوجبو وهو قائد قوة مشتركة من الشرطة والجيش بالمدينة  أنه"تأكد مقتل  10 اشخاص بينما اصيب 25 اخرون بجروح ذات درجات متنوعة."

وشهدت مايدوجوري اعمال قتل بشكل يومي تقريبا وسلسلة من الانفجارات في الاشهر القليلة الماضية والقى باللائمة في ذلك على جماعة بوكو حرام وهي جماعة اسلامية متشددة تقول انها تريد تطبيقا اوسع للشريعة في انحاء نيجيريا اكبر الدول الافريقية من حيث تعداد السكان .

Commander of a special military crack unit deployed a week ago to curb the unrest in the area, Brigadier-General Jack Okechukwu Nwaogbo confirmed the attack, but was unable to immediately give details of casualties.

"There has been a bomb explosion at a market belonging to the police in Wulari area of the city. I'm right now at the scene," Nwaogbo told AFP on the phone from Maiduguri.

It was just the latest in a series of attacks in the troubled region.

An attack on a civilian beer garden in the same city last Sunday, left at least 25 dead.

مشاهير123- نفى المحامون الاميركيون لدومينيك ستروس-كان الاحد ان يكون موكلهم اتفق مع عاملة التنظيفات في فندق سوفيتيل التي تتهمه بالاعتداء الجنسي عليها، على مبلغ مالي لقاء اقامة علاقة جنسية.

وانتقد المحامون المعلومات التي نشرتها صحيفة "نيويورك بوست" الاحد ومفادها ان عاملة التنظيفات البالغة من العمر 32 عاما ويحظر القانون الاميركي كشف هويتها، كانت تمارس الدعارة "بانتظام" وان المدير العام السابق لصندوق النقد الدولي "رفض دفع المال" بعد ان اقام علاقة جنسية معها في 14 ايار/مايو في الجناح 2806 في الفندق الفخم.

ونقلت الصحيفة عن مصدر لم يكشف قريب من فريق دفاع ستروس-كان انها "كانت تعلم بانه شخصية بارزة" وانها كانت تنوي الاستفادة من ذلك.

ونفى الفريق الذي يتولى الدفاع عن ستروس-كان وفي مقدمتهم بنجامين برافمان ووليام تايلور بشدة هذه الادعاءات.

وقال المحامون في بيان تلقت فرانس برس نسخة عنه "لم يكن هناك خلاف بين الجانبين لان الامر لم يكن يتعلق بالمال".

ومنذ كشف مدعي عام نيويورك سايروس فانس ان عاملة التنظيفات كذبت مرارا، اصبحت صحف اميركية عدة تتهجم عليها كما تهجمت على ستروس-كان لدى توقيفه.

English: Machahir123-- Dominique Strauss-Kahn's defense team on Sunday denied allegations made in a New York tabloid that the ex-IMF chief had engaged in sex for money with the Manhattan hotel maid who accused him of assaulting her.

"There was no dispute between the parties because there was no discussion about money," Strauss-Kahn's legal team led by lawyers Benjamin Brafman and William Taylor said in a statement to AFP.

The New York Post said Sunday that the former IMF chief and his assault accuser, a 32-year-old immigrant from Guinea, had engaged in sex acts in his luxury suite, and that afterwards there "was an expectation of money after the fact, but he was dismissive."

The Post, citing a source close to the defense's investigation team, has said the maid often traded sex for money with male guests at the Sofitel hotel.

The sex assault case against Strauss-Kahn appears to be hanging by a thread as damning new revelations -- including claims of money laundering and drug dealing -- have eroded his accuser's credibility, and prompted a judge to release him from house arrest.

Taylor and Brafman maintain that the disclosures "only further confirm that he will be fully exonerated."

English: Machahir123-- When Novak Djokovic realized he was the Wimbledon champion, he fell to the ground and covered the grass like a blanket.

It was a fitting celebration for a man whose court coverage was the biggest reason he was able to defeat defending champion Rafael Nadal 6-4, 6-1, 1-6, 6-3 in Sunday's final.

Djokovic, who was already guaranteed to take over the No. 1 ranking from the Spaniard on Monday, won his first Wimbledon title and extended his mastery over Nadal this season with a fifth straight head-to-head victory.

Djokovic assured himself of the top ranking just by reaching the final. He opened the season with 41 straight wins, including the Australian Open title, but his 43-match winning streak came to an end against Roger Federer in the French Open semifinals.

The victory over Nadal improved Djokovic's record in 2011 to 48-1, with five of the wins coming against the Spaniard in finals -- two on hard courts, two on clay and now one on grass.

English: Machahir123-- Some Yemeni sites on internet shows the image of the Yemeni President, Ali Abdullah Saleh as he lay on his bed at the military hospital in Saudi Arabia, and the picture shows burns that affected the Face of Saleh due to the a blast struck at the palace mosque during prayers at the beginning of last month.

Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh's injuries in a blast at his compound are extensive, including burns over  percent 40 of his body, diplomats said.

Initial reports indicated Saleh, hospitalized at the Armed Forces Hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, suffered burns on his face, neck and arms when a blast struck at the palace mosque during prayers. However, diplomats and Yemeni officials said Tuesday burns also covered some of his back and reports indicated a shard of wood punctured a lung, The New York Times reported.

"His face was quite charred," a Western official said anonymously. "The burns are serious; he is not as well as his aides are portraying it."

English: Machahir123-- Riot police in Bahrain fired tear gas at anti-government protesters denouncing reconciliation talks between the Gulf kingdom's rulers and the Shiite-led opposition on Saturday just hours after the dialogue began.

The renewed unrest , described by witnesses , underlines the deep tensions on the island nation after more than four months of harsh security crackdowns by the Western-allied monarchy.

It also points to the political risks for Bahrain's biggest Shiite party, Al Wefaq, which decided to join the U.S.-encouraged talks despite widespread anger among the majority Shiites , who claim they suffer systematic discrimination at the hands of the Sunni dynasty ruling Bahrain.

The protesters gathered near a landmark square in Manama, which was the epicenter of the Shiite uprising for greater rights that began in February. The witnesses said several hundred marchers chanted "No dialogue" just hours after a ceremony to open the talks in the strategic nation, which is home to the U.S. Navy's 5th Fleet.

English: Machahir123-- The opposition party allied to ousted Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra was poised for a landslide victory Sunday in fractious Thailand's elections, easily capturing the majority needed to form a new government, according to two respected exit polls.

The Election Commission has yet to release results, but is expected to do so later Su nday.

If confirmed, the outcome would set the stage for Thaksin's youngest sister, 44-year-old Yingluck Shinawatra, to become the Southeast Asian kingdom's first female prime minister.

Such a large mandate to govern could make it easier to navigate a way out of out of the political crisis that has plagued Thailand since Thaksin's overthrow in a military coup five years ago. But the question remains whether the nation's elite power brokers, including the monarchy and the army, would accept the result.

The army toppled Thaksin in 2006, and controversial court rulings removed two of the pro-Thaksin premiers who followed after a party allied to him won elections intended to restore democracy in 2007. That chain of events paved the way for army-backed Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva to assume power - which ultimately sparked the massive anti-government protests which brought Bangkok to its knees last year, leaving 90 people dead, 1,800 wounded and the glittering city's skyline engulfed in flames.

مشاهير123 - قامت السلطات اليونانية باعتقال جون كلوزماير، قبطان إحدى سفن قافلة الحرية 2، التي كانت تنوي نقل ناشطين الى قطاع غزة، لتسليم مساعدات انسانية لسكانه.
و ادعت السلطات اليونانية الأمر أنه "محاولة مغادرة ميناء بيراما دون إذن، وتعريض حياة الركاب للخطر" للقبطان الأمريكي الجنسية البالغ من العمر 60 سنة. وتقول السلطات إنه سيمثل أمام المحكمة الثلاثاء المقبل.
وكان خفر السواحل اليوناني فرض لليوم الثاني على التوالي، حظرا على ابحار السفن المشاركة في "قافلة الحرية 2" الى غزة من الموانئ اليونانية.
وسفينة القبطان المعتقل، التي تدعى "أوداسيتي هوب" أو "اقدام الأمل" تحمل على متنها 36 ناشطا وطاقمها المكون من اربعة بحارة وعشرة صحافيين.
وكانت سفينة امريكية تقل عددا من الناشطين قد اعترضت بعد ابحارها يوم الجمعة من ميناء بيريوس بفترة وجيزة من جانب خفر السواحل واجبرت على العودة الى الميناء اليوناني.
وانتقدت حركة حماس المسيطرة على مقاليد الامور في قطاع غزة الخطوة اليونانية واصفة اياها "باللا انسانية" وقالت إن اثينا تنفذ ما تمليه عليها اسرائيل.

To Gaza with Love - Support Gaza

English: Machahir123-- Greek authorities said on Saturday they arrested the captain of a U.S. ship that was part of a controversial flotilla bound for Gaza.

Authorities in Greece have not released the name of the 60-year-old captain, but they said he is being held at Piraeus police headquarters. He will remain there until Tuesday, when a court hearing has been scheduled.

According to the Greek coast guard, the captain of “Audacity of Hope,” is charged with attempting to leave port without permission, and endangering the lives of the boat’s passengers.

The U.S.-flagged boat, which was carrying 36 protestors, about 10 people from the media and four crew members, was one of nine ships in a flotilla headed for Gaza on Friday.

Also included in the flotilla was a Canadian ship dubbed the “Tahrir.”

According to organizers of the flotilla, activists on the Tahrir attempted to sail from the port of Perama near Athens to Gaza on Friday, but their efforts were thwarted when Greek coast guards tried to arrest Sandra Rush — a Canadian who refused to hand over the boat’s registrations papers.

No one was arrested in the incident, but the boat was ultimately prevented from leaving port.
