وكالة أمريكية: جمال مبارك كتب خطاب والده الأخير وأخفى عنه

15:20 GMT: سربت تقارير صحفية أمريكية اليوم الاحد 13/02/2011 عن الساعات الأخيرة السابقة لاعلان الرئيس المصري حسني مبارك تخليه عن منصبه وتكليفه المجلس الأعلى للقوات المسلحة بإدارة شئون البلاد.

وذكرت وكالة "استشيتدبرس" الأمريكية ان جمال مبارك نجل الرئيس المصري السابق هو الذي كتب خطابه الاخير الذي اذيع الخميس والذي كان من المفترض ان يعلن فيه تنحيه إلا انه تمسك بالسلطة في محاولة أخيرة وصفتها بالـ"بائسة"على الرغم من المظاهرات المستمرة التي كانت تدعوه للتنحي .

وأشارت الوكالة الى ان العديد من المسئولين في الحكومة طالبوا مبارك بالتنحي لانقاذ البلاد من الأزمة الناجمة عن الاحتجاجات التي بدأت 25 يناير/كانون الثاني.
ونقلت "استشيتدبرس" عن مسئول حكومي بارز، رفض الكشف عن اسمه،قوله ان مبارك كان يرفض المشورة السياسية السليمة حول ما كان يحدث في مصر ، وان جمال والمحيطين بالرئيس كانوا يخفون عنه حقيقة الوضع وما يجري حقا في الشوارع.وأوضحت الوكالة انه من الواضح ان الخطاب كتب على عجالة ، متابعة ان مبارك كان يبدوا متوترا وظهر أكثر من مرة كما لو كان يبحث عن الكاميرا وكان يحاول تعديل رابطة عنقه .
وأوضحت ان وزير الاعلام السابق انس الفقي كان متواجدا في الاستديو خلال تسجيل الخطاب جنبا إلى جنب مع جمال مبارك ، متابعة ان مبارك اعلن في خطابه تسليم معظم صلاحياته لسليمان رافضا الاستقالة.

Very Dangerous Details : Hosni Mubarak was supposed to announce his resignation on Thursday. The Egyptian military expected it. The new head of his ruling party pleaded to him face-to-face to do it. But despite more than two weeks of massive demonstrations by protesters unmoved by lesser concessions, the president still didn't get it.

Mubarak's top aides and family — including his son Gamal, widely viewed as his intended successor — told him he could still ride out the turmoil. So the televised resignation speech the rest of Egypt had expected became a stubborn — and ultimately humiliating — effort to cling to power. It only enraged protesters. On Friday, the military moved decisively.

Their account portrayed Mubarak as unable, or unwilling, to grasp that nothing less than his immediate departure would save the country from the chaos generated by the protests that began Jan. 25. A senior government official said Mubarak lacked the political machinery that could give him sound advice about what was happening in the country.

"He did not look beyond what Gamal was telling him, so he was isolated politically," said the official. "Every incremental move (by Mubarak) was too little too late."
