دبابات موالية للقذافي تدخل مدينة الزاوية السبت 05/03/2011
Pro-Gadhafi forces enter Libyan town Zawiyah; dozens killed
مشاهير123- دفع الزعيم الليبي معمر القذافي بقواته المسلحة الى بلدة غربية لاستعادة السيطرة عليها يوم السبت لكنها واجهت مقاومة وبثت قنوات تلفزيونية فضائية ان الدبابات تطلق النيران على مبان سكنية.وقال أحد الشهود الذي تحدث مع قناة العربية انه مع وجود دبابات ومركبات مدرعة ونيران مدفعية الان فان البلدة تشهد اشتباكات وقتلا لم يحدث له مثيل في العراق مشيرا الى أنه يعتبر الامر ابادة جماعية تامة.
واستطرد أن المعارك تدور الان في المدينة وأن أكثر من مركبة مدرعة دخلت قبل ساعتين مع دبابة مضيفا أن هناك اطلاقا شرسا للنيران في كل المناطق وأن المساجد أعلنت الجهاد ضد هذه الكتائب.
واذاعت قناة الجزيرة تقارير مماثلة عن القتال في الزاوية على بعد 50 كيلومترا غربي العاصمة طرابلس واذاعت ان الدبابات أطلق نيرانها على المنازل.
English: Machahir123 -Libyan leader Muammar Gadhafi sent tanks and soldiers into the western town of Zawiyah on Saturday morning after a day of bloody fighting which left at least 30 people dead. Gadhafi forces were trying to regain control over the town which had been in the hands of rebels opposed to his rule.
The rebellion in Zawiyah -- the closest rebel-held territory to the capital Tripoli and the site of another oil refinery -- has been an embarrassment to the authorities who are trying to show they control at least the west of the country.
According to witnesses, forces loyal to Gadhafi's regime overcame rebel positions in Zawiyah with heavy mortar shelling and machinegun fire.
The rattle of gunfire and explosions could be heard as the witnesses spoke to The Associated Press by phone. They spoke on condition of anonymity because of fears for their safety.
