Afghanistan: Funeral held for Karzai's half-brother

مشاهير123- بالصور .قام عدد كبير من الافغانيين يوم الاربعاء 13 يونيو/ تموز بتشييع جثمان حمد ولي كرزاي الأخ غير الشقيق للرئيس الأفغاني حامد كرزاي إلى مثواه الأخير في قندهار جنوب أفغانستان. 
في هذه الأثناء أصيب اثنان من فريق حماية حاكم إقليم هلمند بانفجار قنبلة زرعت على قارعة الطريق، بينما كان موكبه عائدا من الجنازة.
و ذكر الحاضرون في الجنازة ان الرئيس الأفغاني حامد كرازاي, قد قبل وجه أخيه حمد ولي كرازاي عند تشيعه.
ووري أحمد والي كرزاي الثرى في بلدة كرز، بعد يوم على اغتياله في منزله على يد أحد المقربين منه.
 وقد أدان البيت الابيض يوم الثلاثاء اغتيال الأخ غير الشقيق للرئيس الافغاني ، وقدم تعازيه إلى عائلة الضحية. وقال المتحدث باسم الرئاسة الامريكية جاي كارني إن الولايات المتحدة "تدين باشد العبارات مقتل الاخ غير الشقيق للرئيس كرزاي في قندهار" بجنوب افغانستان.

Thousands of people joined Afghan President Hamid Karzai on Wednesday in a dramatic funeral ceremony for his slain half brother, assassinated the day before in his home by a close associate.

Ahmed Wali Karzai, the Kandahar provincial council chief and a powerful figure in the southern province, was shot and killed by a guard at his home where he had been meeting with other leaders. The Taliban claimed responsibility.

Mohammad Gulab Mangal, the governor of Helmand province, escaped unhurt earlier Wednesday as two explosions went off as the governor proceeded to attend Karzai's funeral, his office said. The blasts injured two soldiers.
