مشاهير123 - وجهت محكمة أمريكية أمرا الى إدارة الرئيس الأمريكي باراك أوباما بوقف الحظر المفروض على الرجال والنساء من المثليين الذين يخدمون في الجيش ويمنعهم من المجاهرة بمثليتهم.

وألغت محكمة الاستئناف الأمريكية حكما سابقا يسمح للحكومة بتطبيق سياسة " لا تسل، لا تخبر" المعمول بها منذ عام 1993.

وتسمح هذه السياسة للمثليين جنسيا بالخدمة في الجيش، لكن يحظر عليهم المجاهرة بذلك، كما يحظر على الجيش الاستقصاء حول الموضوع، إلا أن له الحق في أن يطرد من صفوفه من تثبت مثليته.

وكان الرئيس الأمريكي باراك أوباما قد ألغى الحظر على خدمة المثليين جنسيا في الجيش في ديسمبر الماضي.

ولكن لايزال القانون القديم ساريا حتى تنتهي وزارة الدفاع البنتاغون من بحث كيفية تنفيذ القانون الجديد.

Barack Obama, the US president, last year signed a landmark law repealing the "Don't ask, don't tell" (DADT) policy that forced gays to keep their sexual orientation secret if they wanted to be in the militar.

The Pentagon has been in the process of writing rules for the new policy.

However, the ruling by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals on Wednesday could speed up that process.

The issue of military service has long been a key issue for the gay community, along with same-sex marriage.

"At this very moment someone could go into a recruiting office and say they were an openly gay or lesbian individual, and hypothetically that recruiting office should enlist that individual," said David Cruz, a professor at University of Southern California Gould School of Law.
