كوريا الجنوبية تحتج على تسمية وكالة أمريكية لبحر الشرق

مشاهير123- أعلن مصدر دبلوماسي ، إن كوريا الجنوبية قدمت احتجاجا ضد قرار رسمي لوكالة أمريكية تمولها الحكومة باستخدام الاسم الياباني لجسم المياه بين سيئول وطوكيو .

وقد تصارعت سيئول وطوكيو منذ عقود حول اسم البحر بين شبه الجزيرة الكورية واليابان. فكوريا الجنوبية تسميه "بحر الشرق" ، بينما تطلق اليابان عليه اسم "بحر اليابان".

وجاء الاحتجاج من قبل وزارة الخارجية الكورية الجنوبية بعد ان اخطرت وكالة الحدود البحرية الامريكية ،المنظمة الدولية الهيدروغرافية أنها تدعم فقط استخدام "بحر اليابان" ، وفقا للمصدر.

وقالت كوريا الجنوبية إن استخدام اسم "بحر اليابان" تم تأسيسه خلال حكم جائر 1910-1945 الاستعماري الياباني لشبه الجزيرة الكورية وهو الماضي الاستعماري لطوكيو والذي ينبغي تغييرها.

Seoul and Tokyo have tussled for decades over the name of the sea between the Korean Peninsula and Japan. South Korea calls it the "East Sea," while Japan claims the name "Sea of Japan."
The protest by South Korea's foreign ministry came after the U.S. maritime-boundary agency recently notified the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) that it backed only the usage of "Sea of Japan," according to the source.
South Korea said the name "Sea of Japan" was unfairly established during Japan's 1910-45 colonial rule of the Korean Peninsula, arguing the Japanese appellation is a vestige of Tokyo's imperialistic past that should be changed. NB: Our visitors.
