مشاهير123 -أفاد شهود عيان مساء الثلاثاء 1-3-2011 أن تعزيزات عسكرية موالية للعقيد الليبي معمر القذافي قد وصلت للحدود الجنوبية مع تونس.
وكانت أنباء سابقة قد أشارت إلى أن الزعيم الليبي بدأ في حشد قوات جيشه في منطقة قريبة من حدود بلاده الغربية مع تونس، وذلك بعد ساعات قليلة من تزايد الضغوط الغربية والدولية عليه، وإعلان الولايات المتحدة أنها بصدد إعادة نشر قواتها حول ليبيا، وإعلان عدة دول أوروبية على رأسها بريطانيا وفرنسا وإيطاليا عزمها على فرض منطقة حظر جوي على ليبيا.
وعادت قوات موالية للقذافي لتثبت وجودها في معبر ذهيبة الحدودي وزيّنت موقعها بالأعلام الليبية، بينما تدفق عشرات الآلاف من أنباء بنغازي ومناطق الشرق الليبي على مراكز تدريب عسكرية في إطار الاستعداد لما قالوا إنه زحف لتحرير العاصمة طرابلس.
وقال صحافيون في الجانب التونسي من الحدود إن وحدات من الجيش الليبي ظهرت قبل غروب شمس أمس الاثنين وأعلنت أن الحدود مغلقة الآن. وشاهدوا عربات للجيش الليبي وجنوداً يحملون بنادق كلاشينكوف. وفي اليوم السابق لم يكن هناك وجود أمني عند المعبر الحدودي.

Suspicions grew that the veteran leader, in power for four decades, does not understand the strength of the forces now massed against him, raising fears that one of the bloodiest Arab revolts may become more violent still.
Western nations prepared to ramp up further pressure to prevent a full-blown catastrophe in Libya where strongman Gaddafi said his followers were ready to die to save his regime.
Residents feared pro-Gaddafi forces were preparing an attack to regain control of Nalut, about 60 km (38 miles) from the Tunisian border in western Libya, from protesters seeking an end to Gaddafi's rule.
The U.N. refugee agency said that the situation on Libya's border with Tunisia is reaching a crisis point after 70,000 to 75,000 people fled from the violence in Libya since Feb. 20.
