Rebel forces say they have breached first gate of Gaddafi's compound in Tripoli

مشاهير123- أكدت مصادر في الثوار بأن قوات المعارضة الليبية هاجمت بوابات مجمع باب العزيزية في طرابلس اليوم الثلاثاء.
وقال مفتاح أحمد عثمان أحد المعارضين في طرابلس أن الثوار يحاولون الدخول عبر البوابة القديمة على الجانب الغربي وإذا نجحوا فسينتقل القتال إلى داخل المجمع.
وذكرت قناة "سكاي" البريطانية التلفزيونية أيضا أن الدخان يتصاعد من عند المجمع في أعقاب ضربة جوية لحلف شمال الأطلسي.

كما تحدث مراسل "رويترز" عن اشتباكات عنيفة وتراشق شرس قرب فندق الصحافيين في طرابلس.  

وكان أحد مراسلي قناة "الجزيرة" التلفزيونية الفضائية ذكر أن معارضين يقاتلون قوات الزعيم الليبي معمر القذافي دخلوا إلى البوابة الأولى في مجمع باب العزيزية المحصن مقر الزعيم الليبي في وسط طرابلس اليوم الثلاثاء.
وبثت القناة لقطات لقذائف تطلق ودخان يتصاعد في سماء المدينة مع سعي المعارضة إلى اخراج قوات القذافي من الأحياء التي ما زالت تسيطر عليها.

Smoke billowed into the sky as the sound of explosions and gunfire echoed through the streets of Triploi but Gaddafi is belived to be holed up in a 2,000 mile network of heavily fortified luxury tunnels built in the 1980s.

Earlier reports by Arab television Al-Arabiya said NATO fired two rockets at Bab al-Azizya, and quoted a rebel official as saying that the rebel forces "are trying to enter the fortified stronghold through the Old Gate on the western side."

In Brussels, NATO spokeswoman Oana Lungescu said Tuesday that the military alliance would not put boots on the ground and would only play a "supportive" role upon request in the post-Gaddafi Libya.
