مشاهير123 - قالت الشرطة إن اعمال شغب واسعة اندلعت في بلفاست ما أسفر عن إصابة 22 شرطيا، مع تصاعد التوتر قبل بلوغ موسم المسيرات البروتستانتية في ايرلندا الشمالية ذروته امس.
واستخدمت الشرطة خراطيم المياه واطلقت 51 رصاصة مطاطية لتفريق اكثر من 200 من مثيري الشغب من الكاثوليك في منطقة برودواي ذات الغالبية الكاثوليكية بغرب بلفاست في وقت متأخر اول من امس. ورد المتظاهرون بوابل من قطع الآجر واكثر من 40 زجاجة حارقة. وقاد احد المتظاهرين حافلة بعد ان دفع بسائقها خارجها ليصدمها في صف الشرطة التي كانت تفصل بين المتظاهرين من القوميين الكاثوليك والبروتستانت الموالين للتاج البريطاني.
لكن الحافلة ارتطمت بالحاجز الامني قبل ان تصطدم برجال الشرطة. ونقل اربعة من الضباط المصابين الى المستشفى وقالت الشرطة ان اصاباتهم لا تهدد الحياة.

English: Machahir123--Serious rioting erupted in Belfast injuring 22 officers, police said, as tension mounted before Tuesday's culmination of Northern Ireland's main Protestant marching season.

Police used water cannon and fired 51 plastic bullets to try to disperse around 200 Catholic rioters in the Broadway area of mainly Catholic west Belfast on Monday night. Rioters responded with a hail of bricks and more than 40 petrol bombs.

A bus was hijacked and driven at a police cordon separating Catholic Nationalists from Protestant Loyalists around 200 metres away, but crashed before reaching the cordon.

Four of the 22 wounded officers were taken to hospital. Their injuries were not life-threatening, the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said Tuesday.
