Tristane Banon files a complaint for attempted rape against former IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn

مشاهير123 - قامت الصحافية والكاتبة الفرنسية تريستان بانون أمس، برفع دعوى ضد المدير العام السابق لصندوق النقد الدولي دومينيك ستروس - كان بتهمة محاولة اغتصابها عام 2002، ما دفع ستروس - كان الى الرد بتقديم دعوى افتراء ضدها، وقال محامياه هنري لوكليرك وفرديريك بوليو في بيان إن «الوقائع التي تتحدث عنها بانون من نسج الخيال».

وأبلغ دافيد كوبي محامي بانون مجلة «اكسبرس» أن موكلته حسمت قرارها قبل إعلان الادعاء العام الأميركي في الأول من الشهر الجاري تشكيكه في اتهامات وجهتها عاملة تنظيف غينية في فندق سوفيتيل بنيويورك لستروس - كان بمحاولة اغتصابها، ما أدى الى إنهاء خضوعه لإقامة جبرية مع احتمال نسف الدعوى المقامة ضده بالكامل.

وأضاف المحامي: «أخذنا الوقت اللازم لأننا لا نريد استعمال أداة يوفرها القضاء الأميركي»، مشدداً على انه وموكلته لا يريدان حصول أي ربط بين القضيتين في أي شكل من الأشكال.

وكانت بانون (31 سنة) أعلنت في مقابلة تلفزيونية أجريت معها في شباط (فبراير) 2007 أنها تعرضت لاعتداء جنسي قبل خمس سنوات من جانب ستروس - كان، لكن التلفزيون عمد يومها الى إخفاء اسم ستروس - كان باستخدام إشارة صوتية.

English: Machahir123-- Just as Dominique Strauss-Kahn looked as though he would wash his hands clean of sexual assault accusations in the U.S., a French writer filed a complaint alleging that the former IMF chief attempted to rape her during a 2003 interview.

Accusing Strauss-Kahn of sexual assault is about the only thing- besides age- that Tristane Banon has in common with the chambermaid who accused Strauss-Kahn of raping her in May. The Sofitel hotel worker is a 32-year old West African immigrant and devout Muslim with a teenage daughter and what appear to be romantic ties with a man incarcerated in Arizona.

Tristane Banon is a glamourous French journalist turned novelist, born to a Socialist party politician in a wealthy French suburb. Banon's family background plays heavily into the chronology of her story: She is the goddaugher of Strauss-Kahn's second wife, Brigitte Guillemette. She is also a good friend and close in age to Strauss-Kahn's daughter, Camille. And it was Banon's mother, Anne Mansouret, the Socialist vice-president of the general council of Eure, who discouraged her daughter from pressing charges against the family friend initially.
