مشاهير123 - تسببت اليوم، الأربعاء، مجموعة من الأفيال البرية فى إثارة الرعب والذعر لمدة ثلاث ساعات فى نفوس سكان ولاية كارناتاكا بجنوب الهند، مما أدى إلى تدمير أشكال الحياة بالولاية، وذكرت تقارير صحفية، أن اثنين من الفيلة البرية قد ذهبت على المسئولين فى حالة هيجان والحكومة حاولت تهدئتها، وذلك وفقاً لما نشرته Daily Mail.
وطاحت الفيلة بعمر رجل (55 عاماً) حتى الموت، بعد أن خرج من منزله لمعرفة ما يجرى، وعرض تليفزيون دلهى لقطات يظهر فيها جثة رجل تحت أقدام الفيل البرى التى جرجره مراراً وتكراراً.
ويذكر أن فى 1975 قتل أكثر من 100 ألف فيل وأيضاً قتل آلاف الأبقار ووحيد القرن فى معارك دارت بين الحكومة الأنجولية وحركة يونيتا المتمردة وانتهت فى 2002.

New Delhi Television news channel aired footage Wednesday showing the body of a man at the feet of one of the animals in the city of Mysore in Karnataka state. An elephant also kicked a cow.

Press Trust of India later reported one pachyderm was trapped inside a farm and the other was tranquilized. It said several people were injured but no details were available.

Hundreds of people die in India annually when wild animals wander into cities as their habitats shrink and they have to range farther for food. Its parks face massive encroachment from people who live and forage in the forests or graze cattle there.
