مشاهير123- طلبت النيابة العامة في نيويورك من القاضي رفض الدعوى الجنائية المقامة ضد الرئيس السابق لصندوق الدولي "دومينيك ستراوس كان" والتي اتهم فيها بالإعتداء جنسيا على خادمة في فندق "سوفتيل" بمانهاتن، حيث من المتوقع ان يتم تقديم طلب رسمي بذلك يوم الثلاثاء كما ذكرت "وول ستريت جورنال" و "بلومبرج".

وكان "ستراوس كان" قد اعتقل في مايو/آيار بعد أن ادعت خادمة في الفندق الفاخر أنه قام بالإعتداء عليها، بينما أقر المدير العام السابق لصندوق النقد بأنه غير مذنب فيما نسب إليه.

لكن في المقابل لا تزال هناك دعوى مدنية معلقة ضد "ستراوس كان" تتعلق بممارسة "أعمال عنف مؤسفة" في جناحه بفندق "سوفتيل"، والتي تسعى الخادمة من ورائها إلى تعويضات مالية غير محددة.

Accuser's lawyer asks to remove district attorney from Strauss-Kahn case

English: Machahir123-- A New York district attorney plans to drop criminal charges against former International Monetary Fund chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn related to allegations that he sexually assaulted a hotel housekeeper, attorneys for both the housekeeper and Strauss-Kahn said Monday.

Kenneth Thompson, who represents alleged victim Nafissatou Diallo, addressed reporters after a meeting with prosecutors that lasted less than half an hour, and hours after filing a motion asking a judge to halt proceedings in the case and appoint a special prosecutor.

"Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance has denied the right of a woman to get justice in a rape case," Thompson said in a brief statement. "He has not only turned his back on this innocent victim, but he has also turned back on the forensic, medical and other evidence in this case.
