مشاهير123- استطاع  ماثيو جرين وهو أول مريض قلب في بريطانيا يتم إستبدال قلبه بقلب صناعي  الشعور بالراحة وذلك بعد نجاح عملية التي هي  الأولى من نوعها في بريطانيا في مستشفى بابورث بالقرب من مدينة كامبريدج. 

وقال جرين : "أنا في منتهى السعادة بسبب عودتي الى المنزل ولأني أستطيع أن أقوم بكل واجباتي اليومية التي لم استطع فعلها الفترة الماضية بسبب المرض مثل اللعب في الحديقة مع ابني وإعداد بعض الوجبات لعائلتي." 

وأضاف : "منذ عامين كنت أقوم بقيادة دراجتي لمسافة 9 أميال من بيتي الى مقر عملي والعودة ولكن عند دخولي المستشفى كانت حالتي سيئة بحيث لم أكن أستطيع أن أسير لخطوات قليلة." 

وتمت العملية التي أجريت الشهر الماضي لمدة 6 ساعات حيث قام الفريق الطبي بإستبدال القلب المريض بقلب إصطناعي يقوم بأداء دور البطينيين وصمامات القلب بكفاءة.

English: Machahir123--PLASTIC heart has been successfully implanted into a British man after his own organ failed, in groundbreaking surgery in the UK.

Matthew Green, a father-of-one, was preparing to return home today after becoming the first person in the country to receive an entirely artificial heart until he can have a transplant.

The 40-year-old was dying from end-stage failure of both ventricles of his heart until he underwent the six-hour operation to implant the temporary organ, which can last for up to three years, at the Papworth Hospital in Cambridge, eastern England.

He said, "I am really excited about going home and just being able to do the everyday things that I haven't been able to do for such a long time, such as playing in the garden with my son and cooking a meal for my family."
