Egypt's former president Mubarak in hospital in Sharm el-Sheikh

Mubarak had been expected to be questioned by investigators for the first time on Tuesday in connection with corruption allegations and violence against protesters during the uprising.

Syria Refusing Protesters Medical Treatment in Banyas
English: Machahir123 - Human Rights Watch says Syrian security forces prevented wounded protesters from receiving medical treatment after last week's anti-government demonstrations.
The U.S.-based rights group says Syrian authorities did not allow ambulances to pick up protesters wounded in the towns of Daraa and Harasta.
At least 26 protesters were killed in Daraa when plain clothes security forces opened fire on demonstrators in and around the city on Friday.
Syrian authorities blamed armed groups for the violence.
Anti-government protests erupted in Syria more than three weeks ago and have been spreading. Demonstrators are calling for sweeping political reforms, particularly an end to the country's decades-old emergency law that gives the government a free hand to stamp out public protests, ban opposition and justify arbitrary arrests.

Libya's state-run television said on Tuesday that a NATO air strike on the town of Kikla, south of the capital Tripoli, killed a number of civilians and members of the police force.
"A bombardment by the crusaders' colonial aggression yesterday struck members of the public security force in charge of organising road traffic and checking identities," the Al-Jamahiriya channel said in a written newsflash.
"All the security force members as well as a number of children, women and men were martyred in the attack."
Kikla lies more than 100 km (60 miles) south of Tripoli. Al-Jamahiriya gave no details on the number of casualties in the incident on Monday.
Journalists have not been allowed to report freely in western Libya, making it difficult to verify accounts from both warring sides.

English: Machahir123 - French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe said on Tuesday NATO was not doing enough to protect civilians in Libya, the day after an African Union plan to halt the country's civil war collapsed.
Juppe said NATO should target heavy weapons besieging Misrata, the rebel-held city in western Libya where an increasingly bloody siege by Muammar Gaddafi's troops led rebels to dismiss the AU call for a ceasefire as meaningless.
"NATO must play its role fully. It wanted to take the lead in operations, we accepted that," Juppe told France Info radio ahead of traveling to Doha on Tuesday for a Libya contact group meeting.
"It must play its role today which means preventing Gaddafi from using heavy weapons to shell (civilian) populations."
When asked if NATO was doing enough Juppe responded: "It's not enough."
