مشاهير123- نظم عشرات الآلاف من المتظاهرين في العاصمة الماليزية كوالالمبور مظاهرات طالبين فيها إجراء إصلاحات على نظام الانتخابات.

هذا و استخدمت الشرطة القنابل المسيلة للدموع في المظاهرة التي نظمت على الرغم من منع الحكومة لها و جرى اعتقال 672 شخصا.

و قد شهدت كوالالمبور أكبر مظاهرة سياسية منذ 40 عاما.

و تجمع 20 ألف شخص على الرغم من إعلان الحكومة عدم شرعية هذه التظاهرة و طالبوا بإجراء إصلاحات في نظام الانتخابات.

و طالب المتظاهرون قبيل الانتخابات التي ستجري عام 2012 من حكومة الإئتلاف برئاسة نجيب رزاق لماليزيا التي استقلت عن بريطانيا عام 1957 أي قبل 54 عاما، طالبوا بالعدالة و الشفافية في نظام الانتخابات.

هذا و استخدمت الشرطة الغازات المسيلة للدموع لتفرقة المتظاهرين و اعتقلت المئات منهم.

English: Machahir123--More than 20,000 people demonstrated for electoral reforms across Kuala Lumpur, the Malaysian capital, on Saturday in a rare protest that was declared illegal by police. The protest was called for by opposition groups, including the Coalition for Free and Fair Elections, Bersih (Clean). Police fired tear-gas and water cannons at demonstrators and arrested more than 1,400 people, including top opposition leaders, according to protest organisers. The activists' demands include an overhaul of voter registration lists, tougher measures to curb fraud and fairer opportunities for opposition politicians to campaign in government-linked media. Malaysia's next general election is planned due in 2013.

Authorities blocked roads, shut rail stations and deployed trucks with water cannons near the Independence Stadium in downtown Kuala Lumpur where activists sought to gather. More than 200 activists had been arrested over the past two weeks for promoting the rally.
