Libyan Opponents request Muammar Gaddafi to step down
05:01 GMT : دعت قوى سياسية وشخصيات ليبية في المنفى الاثنين في بيان إلى تنحي الزعيم الليبي معمر القذافي وإقامة التعددية السياسية في البلاد، كما ظهرت دعوة على الشبكة إلى التظاهر "ضد الفساد والفقر" الخميس.
وقدمت القوى التي اصدرت البيان نفسها على انها "تنظيمات وفصائل وقوى سياسية مستقلة وشخصيات وطنية ليبية ومنظمات وهيئات حقوقية مهتمة بالشأن الليبي العام".
وشدد البيان على "ضرورة تنحي العقيد معمر القذافي هو وجميع افراد اسرته عن كافة السلطات والصلاحيات والاختصاصات +الثورية+ والسياسية والعسكرية والامنية وهي سلطات ظل القذافي يمارسها فعليا وينكرها نظريا وظاهريا".

English : Thousands of Libyans, inspired by the historic revolution in Egypt, plan to hold mass protest rallies against the four-decade-long dictatorship of Muammar Gaddafi, a report says.
Libyans are reportedly planning to hold rallies on Thursday, as the people-powered revolution continues to sweep the Arab World.
The report published in Mail Online under the title "Now even Mad Dog Gaddafi faces a Day of Rage" writes that even Libyans are now daring to hope that the 41-year-long rule of Gaddafi might be coming to an end.
The Monday report comes three days after a revolution ousted president Hosni Mubarak from power in Egypt.
The report also added that underground opposition groups and civil society movements were planning to hold mass pro-democracy protests in major cities across the country in the coming day.
"Behind the closed doors of their homes, they discussed whether the winds of change might blow through their own country," the report said.
