وأضاف في مقابلة مع العربية أن ليبيا ستتحول الى صومال جديدة وأن القبائل في البلاد ستتناحر. .ويعتبر الساعدي بان لو كفت الدول الاجنبية يدها عما يحدث لتوقفت الفتنة و يعتبر كذلك بان ليبيا هاديئة وامنة. ويشتكي من الفساد في البلاد الذي اذى الى هاته الثورة. و الساعدي للعربية: "إذا جاءكم فاسق بنبأ فتبيّنوا" « يعيدها أكثر من مرة » يظهر بانه متدين .الساعدي القذافي يستعرض امام كاميرا العربية مراجع دينيه وعندما سأله المذيع اي الكتب اقرب اليك لم يستطع ان يسمي كتابا ربما اصبح الدين أخر ملجأ للمشكل الواقعين فيه الان.

Saadi Gaddafi, speaking in an interview with the Arabic satellite channel, blamed one of his brothers, Saif al-Islam who had sought reforms before the unrest, for failing to address the problems of ordinary Libyans.
"The tribes are all armed, there are forces from the Libyan army and the eastern region is armed. The situation is not like Tunisia or Egypt," said Saadi, who was briefly a professional footballer in Italy before turning to business.
