SYRIA: Bashar Assad to address nation amid further crackdowns
مشاهير123 - يلقي الرئيس السوري بشار الاسد خطابا اليوم الاثنين حول آخر الاحداث السياسية في بلاده.
أفادت وكالة الانباء السورية الرسمية (سانا)، ان الرئيس السوري "يلقي ظهر (اليوم الاثنين) كلمة يتناول فيها الاوضاع الراهنة في سوريا".
وتوقعت مصادر سورية ان يتطرق الاسد في خطابه الى مستقبل الحياة السياسية في البلاد، والوضعين الإقتصادي والأمني. بالاضافة الى الاصلاحات الجارية مع احتمال طرح حزمة جديدة منها.
وفي هذا الاطار، قال مسؤول سوري في تصريح صحفي ، إن الخطاب سيكون "شاملا، ويتعرض لقضايا جدية عميقة على المستوى الوطني، اضافة الى موقف دمشق من التدخلات الاقليمية والدولية في الشان السوري.
من جهته، أعرب وزير الحرب الصهيوني "ايهود باراك" عن أمله في زوال النظام السوري قريبا، وقال لصحيفة الـ "فيغارو" الفرنسية، ان زوال النظام السوري من شانه توجيه ضربة لحزب الله وايران وللقوى التي تستخدم تعابير المقاومة.
English: Machahir123 - -A speech that is expected to be delivered by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad today could change the course of events for his unrest-shaken country and his own future, Syrian news agency said on Monday.
The sources also said that if Assad failed to announce a series of reforms needed to normalize Syria, he would “miss a big chance” to be able to keep his power safe and from now on he “would have great difficulty convincing Ankara” of his sincerity.
One source speaking on condition of anonymity was more specific to say regarding Ankara’s point of view that “this is not the last chance for Syria, but could be the last one for Assad himself.”
HDN was told yesterday that Ankara is eagerly waiting to hear what Assad has to say in today’s speech in order to take a new position, considering the ongoing flood of refugees from Syria to its southern border province of Hatay. The same source said there was an indication giving some hope that Assad would announce some reformist steps to cool down the tension in his country.
