مشاهير123 - قال وزير الخارجية الفرنسية آلان جوبيه إن بلاده مستعدة لطلب تصويت مجلس الأمن الدولي على مشروع قرار يدين سوريا بسبب "قمعها الوحشي واستخدام القوة ضد الاحتجاجات الشعبية" المتصاعدة ضد نظام الرئيس بشار الأسد، غير أنه أقر في الوقت ذاته بإمكانية أن يواجه القرار اعتراضا من روسيا.
وتوقع الوزير الفرنسي في كلمة ألقاها أمام محللين وديبلوماسيين بمعهد بروكينغز للأبحاث في واشنطن أن يحصل مشروع القرار على تأييد 11 صوتا من أصل 15 في مجلس الأمن الدولي، الذي تتمتع خمس دول فيه بحق النقض وهي الصين والولايات المتحدة وفرنسا وبريطانيا وروسيا.
ورجح جوبيه أن تستخدم روسيا حق النقض ضد أي قرار حول سوريا، غير أنه عبر في الوقت ذاته عن استعداد فرنسا "لخوض المخاطرة" بطرح مشروع القرار في مجلس الأمن.
وكان جوبيه قد أعلن الاثنين في واشنطن عقب لقائه نظيرته هيلاري كلينتون أن فرنسا والقوى الغربية الأخرى مستعدة للمخاطرة بفيتو روسي في الأمم المتحدة حول مشروعهم المتعلق بإدانة أعمال العنف في سوريا.

The French foreign minister Alain Juppé was speaking at the Brookings Institution, a think-tank in Washington, after a day of talks with US officials including the secretary of state.

“The situation is now very clear,” Juppé said. “In Syria, the process of reform is dead and we think that Bashar has lost his legitimacy to rule the country. This a point that I have discussed with Hillary Clinton. We think, all together, that now we must go ahead and circulate this draft resolution in the Security Council.”

Britain, Germany and Portugal joined France in drawing up the draft.

Last month’s European-backed attempt to secure a Security Council rebuke for Syria fell when Russia, China and India made it clear they were opposed.

This time Russia could veto the resolution.

Human rights groups believe more than 1,000 civilians have been killed in the Syrian uprising.
