Bahraini forces injure six villagers

Bahraini forces have shot and injured at least six people  before a day of anti-government rallies dubbed The Day of Rage.
The shooting occurred in the Shia village of Karzakan, northwest of the capital, Manama, on Sunday evening.
Among those injured is a 21-year-old man, who was shot at close range in the leg and groin area. He is in a critical condition, Financial Times quoted witnesses as saying.
They said that the security forces argued with those attending the wedding ceremony and then just barged into the building and opened fire.
The ministry of interior, however, said in a statement that security forces had been attacked in the village and responded with rubber bullets, injuring one protester.
Activists have called for The Day of Rage on Monday to express disappointment at the political reforms of the past decade which have failed to deliver enough prosperity and real change.
Since late Sunday, Bahrain's security forces are patrolling shopping centers and other key points to monitor people's movements as the opposition groups have called for the anti-government protests.
