Four killed in Libya clashes
Arabic :09:15 GMT : قتل أربعة أشخاص على الأقل، الأربعاء 16-2-2011، في مواجهات بين قوات الأمن ومتظاهرين ضد النظام الليبي في مدينة البيضاء، بحسب مواقع للمعارضة على الانترنت ومنظمات غير حكومية ليبية مقرها في الخارج.
وقالت منظمة "ليبيا ووتش" المدافعة عن حقوق الإنسان ومقرها في لندن إن "قوات الأمن الداخلي ومسلحي اللجان الثورية فرقوا تظاهرة سلمية للشبان في مدينة البيضاء مستخدمين الرصاص الحي" ما أدى إلى "مقتل أربعة أشخاص على الأقل وإصابة عدة آخرين".
وأشارت مواقع معارضة أخرى بينها موقع "ليبيا اليوم" ومقره في لندن إلى سقوط أربعة قتلى من المتظاهرين بالرصاص الحي.
ونقلت منظمة "هيومن رايت سوليداريتي" ومقرها في جنيف عن شهود قولهم إن قناصة متمركزين على السطوح قتلوا 13 متظاهرا وأصابوا عشرات آخرين بجروح.
English : At least four people have been killed in clashes at demonstrations against the regime of Colonel Moamer Kadhafi, opposition websites and Libyan NGOs based overseas reported Thursday.
The clashes occured on Wednesday in the eastern Libyan town of Al-Baida.
"Internal security forces and militias of the Revolutionary Committees used live ammunition to disperse a peaceful demonstration by the youth of Al-Baida," leaving "at least four dead and several injured," according to Libya Watch, a London-based human rights group.
Opposition websites, including Libya Al-Youm, also based in London, similarly reported at least four protesters were killed by live ammunition.
