مشاهير123- قال متحدث باسم المحتجين لرويترز يوم السبت ان القوات الموالية للزعيم الليبي معمر القذافي انسحبت من بلدة الزاوية بغرب البلاد بعد معارك عنيفة مع المعارضة المسلحة.وصرح يوسف شاقان لرويترز "دخلوا الزاوية الساعة السادسة صباحا بقوات كثيرة ومئات من الجنود بدبابات. صد أنصارنا الهجوم... انتصرنا الان ويتجمع المدنيون في الميدان."
وفي وقت سابق قال شاقان ان قوات القذافي اطلقت قذائف شديدة الانفجار في وسط المدينة التي تبعد 50 كيلومترا غربي العاصمة طرابلس وان القوات المتمردة استولت على دبابتين.
وقال شاقان "نرى اناسا كثيرين. عدد كبير من السكان يفر. يدور قتال عنيف الان."
وأضاف ان المعارضة المسلحة ما زالت تسيطر على جيوب في البلدة واستولت على دباباتين اثر تبادل لاطلاق النار مع الجيش صباح يوم السبت.
وقال شاقان "تهاجم (قوات القذافي) المواطنين المدنيين. اطلاق النار كثيف. يأخذون الناس من البيوت. الناس تهرب الى القرى القريبة."
وأضاف ان عددا كبيرا من القتلى سقط ولكنه لم يستطع تحديد العدد. وقال دون ذكر تفاصيل ان قوات القذافي تستخدم قذائف شديدة الانفجار.وفي وقت سابق ذكر شاقان ان الجيش دفع بدبابات واسلحة ثقيلة الى وسط المدينة حيث يقاتل معارضو حكم القذافي قواته منذ اكثر من اسبوع وانه اغلق جميع الطرق.
English: Machahir123 - Forces loyal to Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi withdrew from the centre of the western town of Zawiyah Saturday after a fierce battle with rebels, a rebel spokesman said.
"They entered Zawiyah at six in the morning with heavy forces, hundreds of soldiers with tanks. Our people fought back ...We have won for now and civilians are gathering in the square," Youssef Shagan told Reuters.
Shagan said earlier Gaddafi forces had fired high explosive rounds in the centre of the town, 50 km west of the capital Tripoli, and rebel forces had captured two tanks.
"We see many people, many residents fleeing. There is heavy fighting right now," Youssef Shagan said by telephone.
Rebel forces still controlled pockets of the city and captured two tanks from the army in a shootout Saturday morning, he said.
"They (Gaddafi's security forces) are attacking people, civilians. There is a lot of shooting. They are taking people from their homes. People are escaping to nearby villages."
He said many people had been killed, but was unable to give a total. Gaddafi's forces had used high explosive rounds, he said without specifying.
