مشاهير123- أعلنت حكومة دولة الإمارات العربية السبت، أنها اتخذت إجراءات لوقف تصدير سيارات دفع رباعي إلى ليبيا، وذلك رداً على تقارير أفادت بأن هذه السيارات يتم استخدامها في المواجهات بين المعارضين والموالين للزعيم الليبي معمر القذافي، إلا أنها لم تكشف عن طبيعة هذه الإجراءات.وجاء في بيان لوكيل وزارة الخارجية الإماراتية، جمعة مبارك الجنيبي، أن "الوزارة تتابع باهتمام بالغ تطورات الأحداث في ليبيا، وتجدد رفضها واستنكارها لإراقة الدماء، والتعرض للمدنيين، وتؤكد أن دولة الإمارات تسعى إلى أن تلعب دورها المسئول في إغاثة الشعب الليبي، والتخفيف من معاناته."
وقال البيان إن الوزارة تابعت "الأنباء الصحفية، التي تتحدث عن توريد بعض سيارات ذات دفع رباعي لاستخدامها في القتال الدائر"، وشدد على أن الحكومة الإماراتية "اتخذت الإجراءات اللازمة لوقف تصدير هذه السيارات، منذ بدء الأحداث."
English: Machahir123- Abu Dhabi: The UAE announced that it has taken all the necessary measures to halt the export of four-wheel drive vehicles to Libya, the foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The statement comes in the wake of news reports that four-wheel drive vehicles are being used by pro-government forces in the fighting in Libya.
"The UAE will not allow export of such vehicles and equipment that may be purchased from the local markets out of its keenness to stop the bloodshed," Jumaa Mubarak Al Junaibi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said.
The concerned authorities in the UAE will follow up the strict and thorough implementation of this measure.
"The UAE is playing its humanitarian role within the context of its brotherly and friendly ties with the Libyan people and through delivery of several relief and assistance programmes to citizens and displaced people," Al Junaibi said.
The UAE has reiterated its rejection and condemnation of the bloodshed and attacks on civilians and stressed its keenness to play a humanitarian role in alleviating the suffering of the Libyan people, he added, expressing the UAE's hope for immediate cessation of the bloodshed and ending the suffering of the Libyan brethren.
