مشاهير123- نجحت الشرطة المكسيكية بعد مطاردة طويلة في القاء القبض على زعيم أخطر عصابة للمخدرات في البلاد "كارتل لا فاميليا خوزيه دي خيسوس منديز فارغاس" وهو واحد من أخطر الهاربين من العدالة المطلوبين أمنيا والمعروف “بالقرد” في مدينة أكوسكاليانتيس في وسط المكسيك.

المتحدث باسم الرئاسة أليخاندرو بواري قال إن خيسوس “إلشانجو“زعيم عصابة “لا فاميليا ميتشواكان” اعتقل في عملية أمنية شمالي العاصمة المكسيكية في مطاردة أعلنت خلالها الشرطة عن جائزة مالية لمن يدلي بمعلومات تقود إلى اعتقال خيسوس المسؤول عن نقل وتوزيع الكوكايين والماريوانا في عدة مدن مكسيكية. “

عصابة “لافاميليا” تعرف بانتهاجها العنف ولكنها تدعي أنها تحافظ على القيم العائلية.

ويرجح المهتمون بهذه الحرب سبب نشوبها إلى القرار الذي اتخذه قبل أربع سنوات الرئيس للمكسيكي فيليب كالدرون بهدف تصفية ما يسمى بكارتيلات المخدرات المتجذرة في البلد.

إذ ان المعارك التي كانت تنشب بين أفراد هذه العصابات كانت قد جعلت الحياة صعبة ومستحيلة في بعض المدن والأحياء السكنية في العاصمة مكسيكو سيتي.

“We’ve made the biggest hit against the drug cartel ‘La Familia’. With this capture, this criminal group is destroyed. The federal government has arrested its highest-ranking leader, Jesus Mendez Vargas, also know as ‘El Chango’ (The Monkey), during an operation in Aguascalientes.”

Army raids last December turned La Familia’s heartland state of Michoacan into a war zone. The top boss was killed, but the cartel split into factions, and bodies continue to stack up. Despite the government’s glee over El Chango, a new gang calling themselves The Knights Templar, is suspected of killing 23 people just last weekend.

Since Felipe Calderon became president in 2006, there have been some 40,000 deaths in the drug war across Mexico — many of them ordinary civilians unaffiliated with gangs.
